What You Give to God is Between You and God
There are many ways to give to God
1) Give your time by volunteering in a ministry offering in your community.
2) Financially give to a ministry to which you believe.
- The Old Testament has suggested to tithe or give 10% of your income
- The New Testament suggests that the entire community should share with each other 100% of their possessions; that no one would then go without.
- At Dover Place Christian Church we ask that each member only give as they are able.
- We don't want to limit anyone to only giving 10%
- We don't believe that anyone would give 100% of their assets.
- We do believe what one gives is between that person and God
- We do believe some give only out of their excess and some give sacrificially
- Everyone should give in a manner that comes from cheerful thanksgiving for what God has done for us. Remember we can never "out-give" God.
We are currently working to bring you online donation options. In the meantime if you wish to make a dontation to the church and are unable to make it in person, you are welcome to send a check (no cash please) to the church address. Please identify which fund you would like your donation to support. Thanks in advance for your gift to Dover Place.
